Lil Wayne Mansion Cited for Having Long Grass

Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., a New Orleans native better known by his stage name, Lil Wayne, was recently cited for letting the lawn of his Kenner, LA mansion take on an unruly appearance. He didn’t cut the grass or deal appropriately with sprouting weeds. News of the citation has been making rounds in the media because the home is currently on sale for $1.7 million. It’s equally noteworthy that the citation is somewhat of a departure from what people expect Lil Wayne to be cited or arrested for: gun and drug possession. Within the last five years, Lil Wayne has been arrested four times and had eight lawsuits filed against him.

Lil Wayne is one of the country’s most acclaimed rappers and lyricists; his skills regularly receive praise even in presidential speeches. However, he has become notorious for the frequency of his arrests and the grave nature of the charges these bring.

For those interested in purchasing this celebrity mansion, know that it forms part of a gated community in Kenner, Louisiana and has 10,000 square feet of space. Its garage is roomy enough for four cars, and the master bedroom has a fireplace. There are five bedrooms in all and five and a half bathrooms. Pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and movie room are also included.
